TCEC considers applications from qualified, experienced English teachers throughout the year and also from newly qualified teachers wishing to gain experience.

We appreciate it when teachers stay for a whole term because it gives students continuity and a stable learning environment but we realize that this is a big commitment. We hope that teachers will stay at least one month. Most teachers in the past have had a very rewarding experience and have chosen to extend their stay.

Please remember that the school is closed from the middle of December to the middle of March and that in 2009 there will be 2 academic sessions:

• March 15 – July 31
• August 1 – December 15
