The Chairperson, Save Tibet Austria visits Tibet Charity

Elisabeth Zimmerman - Chairperson Save Tibet Austria, her husband and with the emergency medical fund receiver.

We are greatly honoured to receive Mrs. Elisabeth Zimmerman, the Chairperson of Save Tibet Austria and her husband during their visit to Dharamsala in October this year.

They have been long time friends and supporters of Tibet and its people. They and Save Tibet Austria have for many years supported Tibetan schools, institutions and individuals with sponsorship and developmental projects. For the last five years they have very kindly supported Tibet Charity in its endeavor to help the poor and needy Tibetans.

During their stay here they took time to visit the house of the first beneficiary of Tibet Charity Emergency Medical Fund supported by Save Tibet Austria. They enquired after his health. They were thrilled to see how much this help has

meant for this man who could not have seen the light of the day, if not for their kind support. He in turn thanked Save Tibet Austria for giving him a new life.

They also visited the house of Mr. Tenzin Tashi who is doing Fine Arts course in Chandigarh with the kind support from Eva Trippl through Save Tibet Austria. His mother had to sell some of her precious ornaments to meet the fees of the Institute. Thanks to Save Tibet Austria and the individual sponsor, the boy is now able to do his course without becoming too much of a burden on the mother.

Mrs. Elizabeth Zimmerman also gave us fund to support the toilet project at CST Paonta Sahib. This kind support will surely go a long way in making the school more clean and hygienic. She also left some more money for the

We also thank Ms Eva Trippl for taking time to visit the family of Mr. Tenzin Tashi and for supporting him.
