Second session of TCYC begins

Second session of TCYC classes began with a record number of new students from the 2nd of July 2008.

In the morning of the 2nd, at 10 a.m. a simple opening function was held to readout the various rules and regulations guiding Tibet Charity Youth Center.

The names of the students in each class were also readout. Prizes were given to the toppers of each class of the previous academic session.

Miss. Tsering Lhamo the In charge of TC Health Center gave a short talk on various activities undertaken by health section of Tibet Charity.

She also laid stress on the importance of keeping good health.

This time we are quite surprise to see the tremendous increases in the number of students seeking admission in both our English and computer classes. It was a matter of great satisfaction when we have such a large number of students seeking admission in our classes. Some we were told, have come all the way from south of India just to be in our classes. We also have a case of some Mongolians who have waited two months just to get one months education in our English classes.

The positive public response is all thanks to our regular and volunteer teachers- both past and present.

We therefore wish to extend our heartiest thanks to all our staffs both past and present and Tibet Charity Denmark and Sweden for their continuous support.
